The Perfect Margarita

The Perfect Margarita

Trust me when I say I have been searching for the perfect margarita recipe for years. Well I was experimenting the other day yet again and I think I may have found it. I use Patron Silver and fresh squeezed citrus to make the drink fresh and light. You can usually get the agave nectar in the diabetic section of your grocery store. Give my “Perfect Margarita” a try and let me know what you think. Hell, if you have enough of them you won’t even care what they taste like.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz of Patron Silver
  • 1 oz Grand Marnier
  • 1 1/2 oz Fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 oz Agave nectar
  • 1/2 Fresh squeezed lime juice

PREPARATION:

Salt rim of glass with sea salt. Mix ingredients with ice in a shaker and, you guessed it, pour. Enjoy.

Serves 1 but you can make a pitcher by multiplying, but exclude the ice until you pour each cocktail.

  3. Hahaha. Yes, I think 2 of these would have be feeling really nice. Hahaha

Good stuff though. 1/2 a lime was indeed enough now that I that I just had another one w/ your blackened rib eye.

  4. This margarita isn’t bad at all. The orange juice gives it a yellow color. 1/2 a lime worked out well. I might put a little more than 1/2 in next time though. I used Gran Gala instead of Marnier.

I’ll probably have to double the recipe cause this really doesn’t make that much although I do feel a slight buzz

    Good stuff

  5. So about how many oz is 1/2 of a lime?

  6. Mmmm. I love a good margarita
