I love shrimp planked on a grill or grilled wrapped in cedar paper.

Oh no! They can be expensive too! Well about $5.00 each anyway. If you get one, try to grill shrimp on it or a pork tenderloin but only after you have tried the salmon. ;)

My husband and I were at the farmer's market this past Saturday and a gentleman was giving away(!) cedar planks for grilling but my beloved declined. Aaaaarrrrgggghhhh!! (If you're wondering, I wasn't in the immediate vicinity when the offer was made).

Maybe the guy will still have some to give away this weekend because I'd love to try this!

Wow- this looks incredible. I need to put my cedar plank to good use once and for all. Do you need to soak it longer than 30 minutes the first time you use it??

The brown sugar rubs are very good and I use them from time to time but this recipe tops them. This salomn is great served on top of my Caribbean Island Salad. The sweet and citrus play well together and it is just a really fresh tasting meal.

I made plank salmon for mother's day. My favorite way to make salmon. I usually just use a brown sugar rub. Might have to give this a try.
