Deep fried Oreos! As if these sugary cookies weren’t unhealthy enough. Just goes to prove that you really can deep fry just about anything. These suckers are delicious, and if you have never tried them before you are in for a real treat. Still can’t talk yourself into making them? Hey just think how simple they are to make.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 to 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • bag of Oreos
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • powdered sugar
  • vegetable oil (for deep frying – heat to 375 degrees)

PREPARATION:

Beat the eggs, then add the sugar and milk. Sift 2 cups of flour, the salt, and the baking powder and add to the milk, sugar, and egg mixture. Mix while adding more flour until the batter is smooth and not too thick. Dip the Oreos in the batter and then into the hot oil. Cook until brown and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Heat Factor = 0 (None)
